I have generated ISO files with DVD95, and they can't be read by vlc. This happens on Ubuntu 9.04, but on 8.10 everything was OK.

Doesn't work for me either. This is on Ubuntu 9.04 Karmic too.

What error do you get? This is what I get:

    Aborted

I have no idea how to fix this. Also, and more importantly, after burning it to DVD, I GET THE SAME ERROR when I try to play the DVD. Frustrating.

I can play the .iso file and the DVD burned from it with mplayer, just not with VLC -- and I assume that means it wouldn't play on a regular DVD player either (which it needs to be able to do).

    Help!

    Hi,
This is a multi-angle (block_mode) error, should be fixed in git repository source tree.

I have Ubuntu Karmic Koala (9.10) and get the same error as tylerrick. I tried to build from latest git repo, and it still does the same problem.

I'm using Linux 64bit if that makes a difference.

Could you try with mplayer ?

    Same problem with mplayer.

I'm hitting this bug with some discs on dvd95 1.6p0. I get the exact same error as tylerrick. The disc plays in mplayer only without menus.

Interestingly enough, I get the same error with k9copy.

There are 7 "tracks" listed in the dvd95 interface, numbered 2 3 4 5 6 7 and 9. Any bet this has something to do with it.

I should have mentioned, I'm on Debian unstable 64bit, and I've also tried the git version of dvd95, commit ef7ce4e7e8b8fe8e7b08b782d8abed22cf66c5dc

I was hoping to use feature this package in a review of DVD tools that I am working on but, unfortunately, I hit this issue.

I built the latest git checkout at the time of writing (01dd592) to try and resolve it but the problem persists. It is a shame this still doesn't work after all this time, despite the last commit being Thu Feb 28 2013, quite some time after the issue was raised.

If this can be fixed, or if it's due to something else that I should look at, I would be very interested to follow up and, perhaps, test for you.

    FYI, Arch Linux 3.16.4-1-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Mon Oct 6 08:22:27 CEST 2014 x86_64 GNU/Linux

If it worked, this would be a great "do one thing and do it well" little application.
