In this release, I fixed the RUN progress bar so that it changed only if he real percentage changes. Automatic preselection of the longest title available now woks as well. Enjoy!

Update! This is a bugfix release. As 'jorgb' found out, I forgot to slash unpermitter characters in FileChooser->get_text method, so dvd dirs containing spaces, brackets etc. were impossible to precess by mencoder. Thanks.

Checkbox for filtering short DVD titles did not work correctly, this is a BUGFIX release with minor code cleanup. Enjoy.

Minimal length for title duration filter now working, you can select between 1 to 15 minutes.

In this release, the status line is now working. I decided to offer .rpm file (compiled on Fedora Core 5) besides raw .tgz
I made a minor code cleanup as well.

Changes:
+ fixed default Czech audio track recognition
+ 'video options' tab now split into 3 separate frames
+ added minimal scaled width spinbutton not allowing for smaller frames
+ removed html tree from the project .tgz

News:
- splitted MP3 compression settings into separate lines
- added replay-gain option for louder playback

all comboboxes are now filles with the app instead of gladeXML

...just added combo for chapters instead of spinbutton.

New version of dvd2avi was just released. The main emphasis was on the GUI having been rewritten into a tabbed form. Enjoy and send bugs and feature requests, it helps me.

Within 3 day i succeeded to re-learn CSS + HTML/PHP basics and put simple dvd2avi web-page online. It is complete but the docs section, but, if needed, i will complete it in the future. Enjoy dvd2avi.sourceforge.net

A brand new version of a brand new project was just released! dvd2avi version 0.5-1 gives you the potential to easily covert DVD titles to MPEG-4 compressed AVI files (so called 'DIVX') with even more video quality fine-tuning.
