With my camera I can take photos and small full-HD videos. Would be nice to easily include them in the slideshow.

yeah, good idea. I don't really have time to work on this, but it would be nice. We'd need to update everything to work with HD resolution and output .mkv video files, and the processing would of course take longer... maybe when I get that canon 50D.
