I am currently doing a project on open dss-g using its 13 bus test sytem and i now wish to apply some optimization techniques using MATLAB. So can you kindly please guide me out how to do so ?

Sorry for the delay on my reply. Please check the example attached, I put it together a while ago but still works for MATLAB. Use the file "DSSim_Comm_Example_remote.m", that will tell you how to drive DSS-G from MATLAB. Make sure to have OpenDSS-G open when you use this script. Also, make sure of having a circuit model open in DSS-G.
