First, I want to tell you this is an outstanding script. It is solid, smooth, and sleek. Best of all it does what it should do and does it well.
Noticed that mirrors were on your "to do" list. That's great as it was the subject of this post combined with language.
Mirros having their own bandwidth/speed allocations and protected areas makes global download distribution an absolute reality. In turn, this brings up the problem of language and my question.
How difficult would it be to allow user selected languages for users and allocation of a specific language to a specific mirror?
Both of these capabilities combined with your other "to do" features would place DSplus in a globqal category all it's own.
Thanks for listening, and ,especially, thanks for the product.

Glad you find it useful. Thanks for the encouragment.
Mirrors is something I will need personally so expect it for the next release. Private downloads are also going to be high on the list.
I have not put a lot of thought into the languages aspect yet, although I have kept it in mind and tried to make it easy on myself when I do try it.
I am not quite clear on one point
"allocation of a specific language to a specific mirror".
I guess i don't understand why you would want a particular mirror to only be able to do one language instead of whatever the user has selected at the master site.
I am thinking that a cookie could specify the language preference and any mirror would check the cookie and display the correct language.

My original thinking was each mirror could specify an individual default language rather than just using one central default language setting. In looking at it again, it would be far more problematic than helpful. Not a good idea.
But, your thinking is right on target. If the user has the ability to indicate language preference, then problem solved no matter what mirror they are using.

I wasn't very clear about mirrors. Sorry.
