Is there any way to limit the amount of bandwidth PER INDIVIDUAL TOKEN/FILE so for example, let's say you have a file that is going to use X amount of bandwidth to download. The customer downloads the file and then cannot download it a second time because there is no more bandwidth alloted for the download. This would be sort of a round-about way of limiting the number of downloads, yes?. If you wanted to limit it to 2 downloads, you could simply double the amount of whatever amount of bandwidth it would take to down the file. The only problem with this is that the current version of the script I don't think you can set the bandwidth limit for indivudual files (can you?). It appears that by default, the bandwidth limit is set for ALL files automatically. Am I right?.

If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
1. good idea. I'll try to add the option.
2. how premature?
3. possibly, if they go directly from your download page.
4. new tokens/session will mean activity again. A page refresh for example.

1) Add a message alert box notifying the downloader that they must have cookies enabled.
2) Sessions timing out prematurly on internet Explorer (v6.0 on WinXP).
3) If a customer downloads a file from the download page and then visits another site will the file url show up in that site's referrer log?
4) In Firefox (v1.5.0.4 on WinXP) token/session expires but then becomes active again for no apparent reason.
Anyway, just sharing here:)

Another thought I had was this:
