"Shift-Tab" (Back-Tab) should work similarly as in SciTe:
If the cursor is somewhere in the indentation
whitespace, it should dedent the line, otherwise it
should move the cursor backwards to the previous tab
position.
That's better. However, it does not work when there isn't a
shortcuts.dat file yet in the "application data" directory.
It works only after having saved the shortcuts once.

Ugh. This was a bug in how shortcuts are stored. I've
completely gotten rid of whitespace and commas when storing
shortcuts internally. The bug is fixed for the next release.

This is now the default. (Previously, it was control tab.)
