Hi all,
I hope someone here could help me out of this Audio/Data services multplexing ambiguity. I am not pretty clear with this Hierarchical frame concept. Please explain me how a Hierarchical frame is formed. Is it formed from stream 0 alone? What would be the length of one Hierarchical frame? Finally how is this multiplexed frame formed? Is the Hierarchical frame a part of multiplexed frame? Also, If Lmux is the length of one multiplexed frame, then what would be the length of HPP part and LPP part of each stream?Someone please help me out of this.

Hi Dominic - why do you need to know? If it is a purely academic question I'll try and find some time to refresh my memory. You can also find it in the code - perhaps the diorama code might be the easiest to read. If your query is practical, the heirarchical modes have never been used much and I wouldn't worry about it.

Yes Julian please give me some tips on that. I need to know how the multiplexing is been done for I am trying to develop DRM transmitter myself as a part of my academic project.

Were you able to do the Audio/Data service multiplexing in DRM transmitter?
