Summary: Traditional toolbar and status bar

Initial Comment:
The Save and Compile buttons currently in the 
menubar should be moved to a toolbar with icons, 
which should also include buttons for (at least) 
New, Open, Cut, Copy, Paste, and perhaps Undo, Redo, 
and Find/Replace.  Ultimately, this toolbar might be 
configurable (within the new configuration engine); 
this is up for discussion.

Also, the full path to the file should be moved to a 
traditional status bar at the bottom of the window.
