#888 Sound problems
Whenever I start DrJava it makes the sound on my computer sluggish and crackles and buzzes to the point where everything is just static noise. It's definitely not a computer or hardware problem because its perfectly fine when I don't use DrJava and the problem persists after closing DrJava too.

I don't think this has anything to do with DrJava. Perhaps you have a problem with your Java installation. You could try re-installing the JRE (Java Runtime Environment).
Regardless, we cannot help you without having more information about your system.

No help? I reformatted.. everything was fine.. maybe alittle stuttering here and there but might have been I had too many processes running. But as soon as I started up DrJava.. the same exact sound issues started up. I'm not sure if its a software or hardware problem -.-
DrJava doesn't contain any code that does anything with a sound card. I cannot imagine how DrJava can cause this. I suspect it is a driver issue.
Does this happen with other Java applications as well?
