Hi all, I'm having a problem upgrading my version of DRI. It all started on May 1st when I downloaded the binary tdfx and Extras packages. It upgraded my version of DRI to: Mesa DRI Voodoo3 20010501 x86/MMX 1.2 Mesa 3.4.2 Two weeks later I tried the same thing. The installation went fine (no errors reported), as before, but according to DRIsetup the drivers were still from May 1st (same output as above). Then I downloaded and compiled the CVS tree again, and STILL the drivers were not updated. Then I downloaded the tdfx-0.7 drivers and, once again, had no luck. Yesterday I upgraded to XFree86 4.1.0 from the binary packages, and somehow my DRI is still the one from May 1st. Which file is responsible for the information DRIsetup outputs? I've tried upgrading everything: libGL, libGLU, tdfx_dri.so, tdfx_drv.o, tdfx.o. I also thought that the error was maybe in DRIsetup, but Quake3 and other games also output the same driver version? Does anybody know how I could deal with this? Regards, Mladen |
