the thing is however, is not the fact that it is not failing
the compile, it is not even trying to compile it.  According
to World.log it says:
Nothing to do in '/home/ryanc/DRI-CVS/build/xc/programs/Xserver
/os-support/xfree86/linux/drm/kernel' or something along that
effect...I haven't tried pre2, so I will do that.  For some
reason, I skipped from pre1 to pre3.  Who knows.

|I did get it to compile on pre2  (although I'm not using it right now because
|xf4.0 is way to unstable atm)... Are you using egcs or gcc ? and what version.
