I still seem to be having trouble with getting my DRI to work. I have a Voodoo 3 and from all that I have seen the things I have done should work. I have the DRI modules inserted into /lib/modules/2.4.2 and so on so I know I'm using the right tdfx.o. I can still only get software rendering working with the libGL from the Debian testing archive. Any libGL that I compile with my DRI will die with a seg fault that is attributed to glide 3. I made sure I had the latest Glide from CVS and the latest DRI from CVS, both were known as working for other people. I also have the latest stable kernel. What else is there to get DRI working? My system is a Debian testing (was unstable for a while). I would like to make use of my 3D hardware, but I spent a good week or so on it a while ago and I had gotten no where. /dev/dri/card0 is chmod 666 I am running with a full DevFS I really can't think of what is missing and keeping my system from working. Included is the output of glxinfo in glxinfo.dump.err. The glide library file has a creation time of 5 minutes ago. I also hand installed libGL.so.1.2 from my DRI build tree. I have killed every library I had any question about needing and it still dies. There is something I am missing, what is it?
