  I have problems under 32bpp even without running any gl apps, just
having the dri module loaded (and the kernel module) is enough for a lock
up, maybe its something fixed already in cvs (i am using the xfree tree
for now) i'll take a closer look over the weekend and hopefully i'll know
whats wrong.
