The XFree code has improved. Lots of stuff. As Brian mentioned, you don't need the assembly. You can switch it off in the Imakefiles. That would be a good patch. > What's the recommended (stable) kernel release for drm? I'm using 2.2.12 from Red Hat 6.1. The 2.3 kernels have DRM drivers, but they need to be updated to what's in XFree and this source tree. Good luck.
