You know because, if you're using X 4.0.2, you don't have the new ones. If you compiled from DRI CVS, you do have the new ones ;-) There are instructions on the DRI website. (one hint is glxinfo | grep -i strings; the mesa version should be january this year, if you have the new ones) I would recommend you compile from CVS if you use much 3D stuff on your voodoo3 -- my quake (I) timedemo went from 15fps to 50fps on the upgrade..
