With XFree 4.0.2 (and with DRI CVS prior to the merge), DRI with a R128 mobility still doesn't seem to be working. Problems appears with both 2.4.0-ac2 and 2.4.0-ac9, so the kernel module should match. glxinfo reports that direct rendering is enabled and the OpenGL renderer string looks right as Mesa DRI Rage128 20001215 M3 AGP 2x x86. But, running any of the Mesa demos such as gears, etc show a window of the proper size on the screen, but then sit not doing anything, until the process is killed from a remote terminal. The pointer is still able to move, but no focus change events or button press events are detected. Upon killing the process, the following error is always output by the kernel module [drm:drm_release] *ERROR* Process 9707 dead, freeing lock for context 3 Running gears under strace doesn't appear to give any more useful information about what's going on. ltrace gives a little more, showing that gears is waiting in a glutSwapBuffers() Any thoughts on how to fix the hangs?
