[R300] Crash with Blender...

So I've started playing around with blender...  The dri r200 drivers 
work well with it, so I thought I'd give it a shot with the r300 
drivers.  It launches, and everything is fine till I go to select an 
object...  It crashes.  The backtrace is:

Any ideas what the problem might be? 

BTW, has anything come from the attempts to get the r300 DRM working on 
FreeBSD/DragonFly?  Has there been any discussion in importing this into 
the Mesa tree, or is it still too buggy/beta to include?
