Hmm, not sure. When you reinstalled the snapshot, did you use a newer version than before? If so, I'd suggest trying the version from june 30th, since there might be some bugs in later versions which only seem to affect some people (doesn't work for me with cvs version, and there's already a bug report from somenone else that segfaults happen - I'm not sure if snapshots would be affected, but it might be possible).
