Do you happen to be testing this on an SMP system? Also, what card? If you can try it with a voodoo3, which is what I use, we can make more progress on getting it accurately reproduced. I also saw this behavior with xf86-4.0.x and Nvidia's opengl drivers using a geforce card. My machine is an Athlon-900 with 256MB of ram. In fact, I also saw this behavior when using an MGA400 + xf86-4.0.x, it is pretty consistent here. Let's exchange some more details on hardware to make more progress. Later, David S.
