Dremscape X11 is basically a application that runs and looks like a OS. Although it runs on top of windows its still got its own explorer and lock screen.
It was started on the 2nd of July, 2011 and every day more and more features are being added. Obviously making a real Operating System would be harder but much better. Anyway, customization is at the top of the list in terms of how the user wants it. You can set your own wallpaper, change the lockscreen background, username, tile management (more on that later) and theres a lot more. It has loads of useful utilities and all the windows are in there own custom form. So it dosent use the deafult Windows style. Its only coded in Visual Basic.Net currently but were hoping to move on to C#.
