Clicking on "Preferences.." from both the Wizard and
Expert mode results in a crash and a pop-up "An un
handled win32 exception occurred in drdivx.exe [2656].

I noticed this after installing beta 4. Reinstaled
Beta 3 and it still happens.

It will still encode files.

Did you update DrFFMPEG to a recent build ? (latest is beta 5)

    Yes I've updated the DrFFMPEG.

Beta 5 just exits w/o bringing up the debug dialog.

It does encode files correclty. I just can't open the
    preferences dialogs.

It is very likely produced by some weird DirectShow filters.
Some users reported that using Filmerit to clean their
    DirectShow installation fixed the issue.

Please post your saffron.log file here if it still happens
    after using this app.

I also have this problem. However, the cause seems to have
something to do with the file ffdshow.ax. Tried
re-installing ffdshow and dr divx and still can't alter
    preferences.
