Hi,
I am working to create a plugin for zim that uses drawtiming to generate diagrams and one thing that hits me is that most of the output formatting is controlled from the command line. I wonder if it would be possible to add most of the command line options as commands in the input file. That way each timing input file would control the setup of its output file. If the options are specified on the command line, they should override whatever setting is in the file.
Pros:
Easier to integrate drawtiming as a backend for plugins
Easier to write Makefiles, a .png.tim rule would then be all needed in the Makefile
Cons:
Adding stuff to the parser/lexer is not as easy as just adding some more command line options.
