Hi brother tks for you great work
UHD have some problems with usrp1.
uhd_find_devices works fine
uhd_usrp_probe have problem identifying dboarb
[ERROR] [DBMGR] The daughterboard manager encountered a recoverable error in init.
Loading the "unknown" daughterboard implementations to continue.
The daughterboard cannot operate until this error is resolved.
In other distros uhd running fine for my boards.
PS. I allways set udev rules before testing.
TY.
Well seens like I made a mistake.
I just see my iso is DragonOS10_public_R2 and not Focal
So I will try Focal, if you want to check this problem is on Debian version ok.
Tks
Hi Robert. Yes, please try Focal. DragonOS 10 was my first stab at this. I later moved to 18.04 LTS and now I do all my development on Focal.
Hi Cema,
Trying on Focal, UHD now detecting Dboard but I have usb permission error.
Not a problem at all. checking what can be.
BTW I can build a Vmware player image for you if need.
Tks for helping me.
Cema- I also found DragonOS 10 first and only found Focal when I decided to see what else you were working on. That's when I hit the trifecta of 10, Focal, and LTS! I was able to sort out which was the most recent and shift my efforts to Focal.
I hate to ask you to do more work, but you might consider putting a Deprecated note and link to the Focal project at the top of the project docs for 10 and also for LTS if that is also a "former" project.
Thanks so very much for all you have done and continue to do! You're the best!
Good idea, ill go do that tonigjt. That way theres no confusion and everyone can get the mew iso easily.
@caltain closing out this ticket, but it reminded me that I haven't heard from you in awhile. Hope all is well, send me a message sometime.
