I’ll go double check but in a round about way it’s in there when you use kismet. That’s the smart meter tool? If you go into say your home directory and run kismet via command line and pull up the web link it refers to, log in, and get to the devices area you’ll see (rtlsdr plugged in) like three options rtladsb, rtl433, and rtlamr. If you select amr it’ll detect and log the devices.

I can see how rtlamr standalone may be preferred though.

Yep, it's the smart meter tool, I have one of those for electricity (and
water perhaps, I'm not sure about that) and I'd like to read the payload, I
      know it's "around" 915Mhz, I've tried using kismet on R31, but I haven't
noticed the rtlamr-0 interface, just the rtlsdr one; so I'm not sure how
you have used this in kismet.
Command line one would be nice to have in addition to the kismet option
      (which I couldn't find/activate on R31)

I have found the rtlamr option on kismet, sadly, even after waiting some time, nothing seems to be displayed; let me know if you can think of something to try (docs seems to indicate 915Mhz is the default)

Maybe you can give me some advice on how to find the freq, set the gain, etc; because I'm not seeing anything; and there are probably 50 smart meters within a 25 meters radius.

This is my meter's fcc id: https://fccid.io/R7PEG1R1S2
