hello,
in the list of the softwares is written kalibrate (hackrf) but when i type ls it is only listing kalibrate rtl. so is it an issue from the list or is it installed somehwere else than usr/src?
secondly on a fresh install when trying to run apt update we get a long list of errors and when trying gsmevil2 it won´t open because of flask error missing module. do all these issues get resolved when we install lgtqx ? ( i am using vmware on mac host)
regards.

Hello. I'll try to answer one by one.

Kalibrate is installed for both rtl and hackrf, but because when normally installed it would be the same binary name I manually changed each name.

So there is kal and kal-hackrf. You would run kal-hackrf in the terminal. You will also need to make sure you hackrf is loaded with the firmware I've included or make sure it's at least 2023 or greater.

I'm not sure when errors you're seeing when running apt update. Can you please provide a screen shot? I'm assuming you are providing an internet connection when doing so.

To run gsmevil2, which now that you say this i need to look at updating it to maybe not need a python virtual environment, but for now open and read the DragonOS_README.md file that is contained in the /usr/src/gsmevil2 directory. Without completing those steps first you will see the error you refer to.

I thought of one thing. When you say apt update, are you opening a terminal and manually running sudo apt update? Make sure you can ping or open a webpage before doing so. Also if the pop up updater thing is coming up, I would suggest closing it and using a terminal first. After that, you can also try to open the menu option preferences and then full upgrade. But I always suggest doing a manual terminal window and observing what all would be upgraded when running sudo apt upgrade.

thank you for your precise answers. i have tried to type kal -s GSM900 and i get error:
no device found ( so this is why i figured out kalibrate hackrf was not installed).
