Hi,

I am trying to install the latest version of DragonOS (R30) to a Virtualbox VM. I've followed the same procedure that I did for R28 but I am receiving an error saying "Sorry, an occurred and it was not possible to install the bootloader at the specified location." The specified location is the Virtualbox Disk Image.

Thanks for the help,
Tim

Hello. I’ll have to try this today. Is it occurring at the end of the install process? Can you still close it out and reboot into the installed Vm?

Wow, good catch. It's happening to me to. I'll run through the install again and see where things are going wrong. That same issue is not happening to me when installing bare metal.

Can you do me a favor? Under your vm system settings with the system turned off, can you check the box that says enable EFI? I just ran though the installation with a new ISO I made with that option on and had no issues. I'm going to test now installing without the box checked.

      Hi Cemaxecutor,

Thank you for getting back to me. Your suggestion has worked. The
installation has gone through and it boots properly. Thank you for your
      help.
