Hi,
I'm trying to run the drone_id_test.grc flowgraph on FOCALX R29.1 on VirtualBox and it's throwing Overflow errors at 30.72MHz sampling rate - I have a Ettus B210, and my pc runs at 2.4GHz. If I slowdown the sample rate (~2-5MHz) errors happen less frequently as expected. Do you have an idea if this might have a solution? In your video it run smoothly like a charm : ) : p

Also, I'm not saving data to a file. The wiki from proto17 repo (https://github.com/proto17/dji_droneid/wiki) suggests to use /dev/shm

Thanks,
C.

If I recall in all the videos, for sure the one initially recorded the burst in, DragonOS was running bare metal on my laptop.

Within a VM, even if you install guest tools and enable USB3 I think that’s unfortunately going to happen (what you’re seeing).

Could you just boot your PC live with DragonOS and try that way? If you’re using the latest DragonOS and flow graph it should just pull the bursts and put them in /tmp.

I really should do another video from beginning to end.

    Hi,
Just an update, I've installed now DragonOs on a partition on mac - 1 overflow once in a very while : ) . Not yet drone packets though. I'm also having issues the fosphor sink - 'failed to initiialize fosphor', do you have an idea what it might be? The pckgs seem to be in place, gnu radio recognizes it, etc?

    Thanks,
    C.

You would have to have nvidia drivers installed or you could try this to see if the CPU is supported
