    Hello and happy new year!

So the bad news first, I should’ve documented this and made it more known. You may have to perform a reinstall. I don’t recommend installing wine from apt in either DragonOS focal or FocalX. It creates lots of problems, but this is a first I’ve heard of not booting.

The good news. Wxtoimg is in DragonOS FocalX with the patch to deal with it being out of date. There’s also Noaa apt and Satdump.

But to answer your question and to have a working wine you’ll want to grab one of the following AppImages

    https://github.com/ferion11/Wine_Appimage/releases

    https://github.com/mmtrt/WINE_AppImage

You’ll have to make either one executable and you could put a symlink in your bin directory to make it function just as the one from apt.

I’ll find one of my videos where I show how to use the top one with a windows application. I’ve been meaning to make space to include the smaller of the two appimages.

I finally got around to trying wxtoimg. I should've setup the shortcut to start the gui. If you open up a terminal and type wxtoimg -G it will start the GUI.

I'm not familiar with using it, but figured it would be straight forward to take a wav file and get an image. In the NOAA-APT program I've been able to get a decent image from a NOAA 15 wav file, but so far unable to get the same in wxtoimg. Maybe I'm doing something wrong.
