I've been testing the new FocalX build(s) and noticed there are quite a few tools missing that were present in Focal. That is expected with older, unmaintained, non-22.04-compatible code, but FocalX seems to be also missing many actively-developed tools, namely:
There are even some indispensable SDR tools in the list such as URH and pyrtlsdr, making the decision on Focal vs FocalX for general-purpose usage harder than it could be. I understand some Focal tools aren't 22.04-compatible and will be left behind and also that some of the tools above might have temporary build issues with 22.04, but it seems unlikely for all of the listed ones. I'm not a dev though. As an SDR user I'm only wondering which bundle has the most complete toolset available.
Whoops, taking Mirage and URH back since they're only missing from the list. Sorry if I overlooked anything else.
Also: I'd edit the OP instead of posting this, but the site doesn't allow me or am I missing something? I can edit comments though.

Good morning. Thanks for the reminder. So everything except the following is in there,
RTLSDR-Airband
Trunk-recorder
pyrtlsdr
CRC RevEng
ProbeQuest
QT-Dab
To be added though... but on the other hand, there's actually a lot more in here then in Focal with for example SDRAngel which is no longer being maintained w/ older QT5 builds (so no 20.04).
Along with the ones above, I need to take a look at having Icecast in place but not fully configured so the user can set their passwords etc. CRC RevEng was really only in the last build to go along with gr-smartmeters, something I need to also maybe add back in. It was only ever usable with certain gas meters in Texas though, maybe other locations too.
I missed some of them since they're not in the path, but I see my error now. I see the list is going to be cleared out sooner or later and thank you for all the hard work.
