Hey all,
I'm not quite ready to blow Windows away on my GPD Win 3 (i7-1195G7 \ Iris Xe) so I was thinking of running DragonOS as a VM. Will probably replace the SSD for largest that will fit and dual boot.
What are pros and cons of Hyper-V vs Vbox for DragonOS? Which is better for passing through USB SDRs?
Thanks
Frank

Totally understandable. Honestly, I’ve had good results with both, but way more experience with Virtual Box.
Couple things to keep in mind with VBox.
Make sure you add your user to the group and log out/log back in.
Make sure you install guest tools to the host machine and within DragonOS Vm itself.
Make sure you change usb settings on the Vm while it’s stopped to usb3 if needed.
You should find that by plugging in the sdr to the host that you can pass it through. I should probably take some time and do some more comparisons with other solutions, but I typically end up just using VBox if anything.
