The resize bug hasn't been resolved yet.

When resizing the JFrame, the pieces on the field do
not resize properly. When resizing again, the pieces
resize to the size it should have been after the first
resize.

Vipie stated that the bug was fixed, but this seems not
to be the case. Please look into it.

Note that this bug may become unimportant when the
images are changed to be rendered in the background.

euhm did I say 'resize' bug, I mentioned the repaint bug.. my mistake then.

The resize bug is indeed not fixed yet, and indeed it may become very unimportant but it will probably be fixed if (and when) we cut the 2dGui into smaller pieces...
