#54 improve load time

This is a great tool. My only issue is that the first load when you launch the applet is so painfully slow (and crashes the browser if you decide to cancel).
Hopefully there's a way to make this load much faster - possibly by reducing the size and number for all the class & Jar files.
At some future point a Flash-based design would be ideal at solving the load issues, though i realize that's a significant undertaking.
