Dear Sir, My daytime job consists of developing software for realtime systems. In my search for tools to ease kernel debugging I found IBM's DProbes. Unfortunately, although the kernelpatch applied and compiled fine, compiling the necessary tools failed. I fixed some bugs and sent the fixes to the DProbes mailinglist earlier this evening, but afterwards I noticed the intention of someone to convert the configuration and buildsystem of the package to the GNU Autotools. "# This has gotten ugly beyond all belief, time to learn autoconf :)" Later this evening, I started converting the dprobes-v3.3.6/cmd subdirectory to use the GNU Autotools, and I just finished that conversion. Since I only have x86 systems available at home, I couldn't test the S390 and PPC versions. Theoretically, they should work though :) You can find the tarball at: http://lumumba.luc.ac.be/takis/dprobes-cmd-3.6.3.tar.gz I hope you find it useful somehow.
