As a User i want to work with an other user without beeing forced to select a project to work on, in the Saros Contacts-View.

Why? If you have plenty project in your workspace it is very difficult to find the right one. Also the number of projects listed can exceed the screen height that requires very unconfortable scolling.

It it easier to select a project or projects to work on in the package explorer.

This is currently a design decision that it is not possible to start a session without a project. As you recommendation, it is already implemented. Please tell us if this does not work as expected.
