    Linus - 2014-02-13

    Hi all,

    Since days I tried to get a .pdf file with Doxygen - MiKTex but it didn't work for me since this morning. A colleage (on his system it works fine) sent me his refman.log and refman.tex files and I found out that the packages were loaded in another order. So it works now for me with his refman.tex file and it works if I change my tex file.

    But the question now is: why do I get another refman.tex file? We use the same source and the same doxygen file. Any ideas what's wrong on my system?

    Win 7
    Doxygen 1.8.6 (same problem with 1.8.5)

    Thanks in advanced for any help. Please let me know if I missed important infomation.

    Best regards,

    Linus

    This is my start in the refman.tex file:
    ...

    % Packages required by doxygen
    \usepackage{calc}
    \usepackage{doxygen}
    \usepackage{graphicx}
    \usepackage[utf8]{inputenc}
    \usepackage{makeidx}
    \usepackage{multicol}
    \usepackage{multirow}
    \usepackage{textcomp}
    \usepackage[table]{xcolor}

    Need to change it to:
    ...

    % Packages required by doxygen
    \usepackage{geometry}
    \usepackage{makeidx}
    \usepackage{natbib}
    \usepackage{graphicx}
    \usepackage{graphics}
    \usepackage{multicol}
    \usepackage{float}
    \usepackage{listings}
    \usepackage{color}
    \usepackage[utf8]{inputenc}
    \usepackage{multirow}
    \usepackage{textcomp}
    \usepackage[table]{xcolor}

    Update:
    After my colleague has updated Doxygen he isn't able anymore to create a pdf file.
    Problem is only the \usepackage{doxygen} - deleting this from the tex file and it it possible to build the pdf.
    Seems that this "usepackage" is added in the latest Doxygen version (1.8.5 and 1.8.6) and this cause that problem.
    Any ideas how to fix this or a workaround?
    I searched for a package to install but could not finde one.

    Me again with a new update:

    Get it to work as it should do with Doxygen 1.8.2 - no problems.

    Now I have a new project and I run in the same problem:

    Using 1.8.2 will not create a refman.pdf file. Asked my friend google with the result that an update will fix the problem - so far so good - with 1.8.6 the necessary refman.tex is created.

    But it is not possible the get a *pdf file! CPU is working all the time but even hours later no pdf file.

    Deleting or renaming \usepackage{doxygen} in the refman.tex is successful and I get the result I want to see - a pdf file.

    What's going wrong here?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
