Downloaded files are junk :/

Almost all the files I download are unusable. There must
be something wrong while combining the parts. 4 parts
are downloading simultaneously, and no errors are
shown when completed, but files are junk. I can't open
any of the downloaded. :/
I'm using WinXP + ZoneAlarm Pro + Download Plus! v.

Please post a URL of problematic files.
Maybe the server doesn't support resuming... so it downloads
several times the same thing.
Thanks

your zone alarm must be corrupting the downloads
turn it off and try again
upgrade it and try again
i have the same setup and it works for me

I just downloaded this myself, and I haven't tested it on
anything yet. But I am wondering if what you are saying
could be a result in downloading binary in ASCII and
viceversa... Maybe?

I get a similar issue with TrueDownloader 0.82
Some of the files I downloaded were short of the size they
should have beeen. I noticed in one instance while I had
multiple downloads, the session files for one download were
larger than the download itself was supposed to be and I
believe it actually had part of the other downloads in there
by mistake.
Some downloads show complete with the correct size, but when
you look at the actual file it is short and unusuable. I've
had this from a number of sites, including www.mozilla.org
I'm using Win2k Sp3, ZoneAlarm, TrueDownloader 0.82

I too have had this bug on a few occasions. It seems to
happen per session of TrueDownloader instead of per
download. I will have a few files from different sites
queued up and every single one will be corrupt. If I
restart the program and redownload all the links, they will
all be fine. I don't remember all the links off hand, but I
know some were from SourceForge, so it's most likely not a
server-side issue. It's not a bug I can produce though, it
seems to be completely random.
My setup is Windows XP with the default firewall and v.82 of
TrueDownloader. I feed downloads to TrueDownloader through
Flashgot in Firefox, but this doesn't seem to be causing the
problem, because adding the links in manually will have the
same effect.

I got a similar issue. Recently I downloaded several video files using TrueDownloader 0.82. It took a while as the server was slow and often dropped connection. Although TrueDownloader did not report any problem, most of the the downloaded video files did not play! Then I downloaded the SAME files from the SAME server using Free Download Manager. All of the files played! Amazingly, "bad" and "good" files were identical in size!
