#1 Support Colors & Lines?

Is it possible to support colors, lines, and blinking
characters? Looking thru the source I think this is
handled via some type of character xlate table
handling. Can you provide this functionality? Is
there some kind of step by step method we can see
which describes how to extend the capabilities for
other emulation types?
