I get an error when starting dosemu:
ERROR: Unknown CPU type!
CONF: emulated CPU forced down to real CPU: 386
LOWRAM mmap: Invalid argument
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

This is on an acer quad running Fedora 19. When I do a bug report it gives me libplugin_X.so is missing. I looked in /usr/lib64 and it is not in there.I will try to find libplugin and install it to see if it works.

it is version 1.4.0. The libraries are in /usr/lib/dosemu/* It was from the dosemu website w/freedos rpm. The only thing is it i386 and I am running x86_64. I might be able to write a conf. file under /etc/ldconf.d to include the libraries. In other words /usr/lib/dosemu in say /etc/ldconf.d/dosemu.conf. However, I do not know if that would fix the segmentation fault?

I think your dosemu is very very old
(and wrongly installed), where have you
    found it?
There are newer packages built, for instance
    here:
