This freature request looks a lot like this one :
i/o manipilation.
The new thing is long foldernames in DIR and CD.
These features might be added but they have absolutely no priority as
in real dos(which we try to emulate) they are not present. So it would be
extension.
The i/o manipilation is a real missing feature it will be added someday,

long filename support is so much more that just CD:D
