Hello, after talking in some ubuntu dosbox bug report [1], I was wondering if there's the possibility of a new release of dosbox soon, and/or what are the criteria that the dosbox team uses to decide when this can happen (like after adding some new feature).
This would allow people that don't know how to build from svn to catch up with the latest advancements in DOS emulation.
Thanks in advance.

Another bug is a regression bug that causes Screamer to crash shortly after starting. This bug has been fixed in DOSBox but still exists in the Debian version.
DOSBox is lagging behind in Linux distros because the version number hasn't changed in years. The last upstream release in Debian was 2010.
Could we have a version 0.75 release please? I'm using subversion 3989 in Debian Testing without any issues.
+1 for new official release.
I also use SVN build, it's not such a problem, but there were a lot of changes since 0.74 and having package from distro is always welcome.
A lof of time passed, so maybe do a jump to 0.8 directly, to underline the importance of the release? ;D
