#52 DOTT CD version does not do speech

The CD version of Day Of The Tentacle does not have
voice support. I have tried multiple IRQs etc in the
configuration, but although the music plays, there are
no samples. The game does not appear to recognize the
emulated sound blaster because it always turns
subtitles on.

The CD works like a charm on a real PC w/ DOS and a SB
16, so it is a dosbox problem. Also, the floppy version
that is floating around on the net does have speech in
the introduction. There appear to be differences in
sound reproduction between the CD and floppy version.

You can of course play this version with scummvm natively,
so maybe you want to try this. It should be available at
scummvm.sourceforge.net.

Try slowing down the machine with ctrl-f11 before starting the game, else
it won't detect the soundblaster.
