#40 New file at midnight ? - extended

I find that it will be VERY usefull if the "New file at
midnight" option in the AVI tab could be extended to
a "new file each X hours". Each created avi file would
then be smaller in file size and therefore faster to
download.

Dear Frank, I hope you will implement this feature in the
next version.

This has been requested before and is on the to-do list. But I
don't think it will make it in the next 2.1 version (unless you
would contribute it yourself :-)
