I gave it some time to think about it before answering this.

Not likely.
1. We already have two graphics interfaces to support, and do not use voxels.
2. The code already has deep dependencies upon current graphic models, which include software draw to native format.
3. DoomLegacy does not copy ZDoom -isms. I am pretty sure that any rendering the way they do, would be incompatible with rendering the way we do it.
4. If this requires a z-buffer, we do not have one, except for any that GL rendering may use.
Doomlegacy works on small systems without expensive graphics cards.
6. I have way too many things to work on in DoomLegacy, and other projects too. Not enough time.
