Please could you release this for the Pi (2)?

A lot of people are using a Pi with gamepads connected to a TV with RetroPie for all the emulators. There's a port section which features a Doom port, but it would be so great to have Doom Legacy with it's split screen feature.

I'd be happy to donate!

Need someone to do the work on a Raspberry.
I am already overloaded with work to do on DoomLegacy, for years to come.

There's some guys in RetroPie forum that could compile DL on Raspberry Pi. All you have to do to compile it, is getting the dependencies and run "make".

You can find the details here.

For the DoomLegacy maintainers to host a new port:
    1. It must have enough users to justify the time that someone must donate to maintain the port.
The existing ports get around 100 downloads a week.
I cannot see that there would be more than 20 downloads of such a binary from the SourceForge site.
    2. At release dates (about every 9 months), someone must compile the code for the port and play test it to make sure that none of the new changes broke anything. This requires that someone on the DoomLegacy team be able to compile and test DoomLegacy for that port, thus they must have the hardware and be experienced enough on that hardware to judge that the code is working correctly, and to fix anything that gets broken.
DoomLegacy team does not have anyone with a Raspberry Pi
    3. I already have 12 projects, and have not even worked on some of them for months.
I cannot take on more work. I need volunteers to do some of the existing work.
    4. The DoomLegacy site seems to be the wrong place for hosting such a thing. A Raspberry Pi specific site would be better, as that is where Raspberry Pi users would look for such code.
    5. When a downloadable binary is provided, it is dependent upon the trust of the person providing it that it will do no harm and has been tested to work reasonably.
I cannot provide testing for a Raspberry Pi binary as I cannot test it
I cannot provide trust for a Raspberry Pi binary compiled by someone not on the DoomLegacy team.
    6. I can make changes to the source code, if they do not interfere with any other port code.
    7. Issues with extra weapons when playing coop is the fault of the wad you are playing.
    8. Issues with coop mode setup are already being worked on, but I cannot get to all the bug reports in a reasonable time. Some of those bug reports are more than 10 years old.

If you can host a Raspberry Pi binary for DoomLegacy on this Raspberry Pi site, as being supplied by yourself, I think that would be the best that can be done.
    1. You can compile and test it.
    2. The users that would download it would trust your name being on it.
    3. If any issues come up, the users will come to you (and not me) thus saving me alot time dealing with port specific issues where I don't have answers.
    4. You can still submit bug reports to DoomLegacy for Raspberry Pi specific code issues.

Does the svn 1466 code which allows XBOX style controllers (without keyboard) satisfy this request for a Raspberry PI port? see Feature Request 0093.
    Can this be closed?
