#1 Create project environment variables

It would be very useful if the project name and version from the Maven pom.xml were made available to doxygen as environment variables. Then, when running doxygen with a configuration file, the project name and number could be set with entries such as:

PROJECT_NAME = $(MVN_PROJECT_NAME)

and

PROJECT_NUMBER = $(MVN_PROJECT_NUMBER)

This would have two benefits: there would be no need to update the doxygen configuration file after making a release; and the configuration file would be portable from one project to another.
