I'm now using for some time a self-made RTF Writer. It is not feature complete, however, it 'works for me'.

So better than letting it take the dust over there, I thought I could share it for hypothetical inclusion inside docutils. I don't know if this is the best way to do so.

this is not the "best" way, but Many thanks.
    david's droning it for years:

    CONTRIBUTIONS WELCOME

a better way is, enter the project, create a directory rtf-writer and put it there.

    I will do this all.
BUT can you put a copyleft into it, something along::

    # Author: David Goodger goodger@python.org
    # Copyright: This module has been placed in the public domain.

Thanks a lot, will this be included in a forthcoming version of docutils ?

    I've added this:

       Author: Benoît Allard
       Contact: benoit@aeteurope.nl
Copyright: This module has been placed in the public domain.

At the end of the doc, hope this is what you meant.
