the generated pdf: http://docutils.sourceforge.net/sandbox/grubert/tools.pdf

already handles this long table. the long tables i am talking of are
document information and option-list.
* docinfo still uses tabularx, therefore it is limited to one page.
* option-list now uses a latex list environment, therefore is no longer
  limited to one page. this will be used for the docinfo too.

anyway due to limited interest in the public, i will proceed at my pace.
