Thank you, Adam, for the report.
This should be fixed by [r8947].
I appreciate your minimally invasive patch but choose to make the test scripts more self-contained.
I would also like to move the "RecommonmarkParserTest*" classes to test_parsers/test_recommonmark/__init__.py but this may not be necessary when these classes go away during the "test suite standardisation" anyway.
