Category: XSL Group: output: manpages Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Daniel Leidert (dleidert) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: man: synopsis indentation differs from other sections Initial Comment: It seems, that the following code-sample results in a different indentation than in other manpage section beginnings: <refsynopsisdiv> <synopsis><![CDATA[#include <lib/lib.h>]]></synopsis> </refsynopsisdiv> The resulting SYNOPSIS section contains an indented '#include <lib/lib.h>' paragraph. But the paragraph begins at the position, where e.g. the indented <listitem>-part of a <varlistentry> elements begins: NAME lib - library SYNOPSIS #include <lib/lib.h> DESCRIPTION The lib library ... ... term listitem-paragraph ... So it breaks the outlay of the whole manpage a bit. Is this intended behaviour or is it a bug (I would call it a minor bug). Seems, the formatting was lost. Again the result (with a '.' per space): NAME .......lib - library SYNOPSIS ..........#include <lib/lib.h> DESCRIPTION .......The lib library [..] .......[..] .......term ..........listitem-paragraph .......[..] Regards, Daniel ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=373747&aid=1474981&group_id=21935 |
